A natural paradise at the entrance to the Pontevedra estuary, the Island is part of the Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. This archipelago is made up of the main island, Ons, together with the island of Onza or Onceta and other smaller islets, A Freitosa, O Centolo, O Cairo, A Laxe do Abade, A Pedra do Fedorento, A Illa do Xuvenco and Or with two Gauls.

It was included in the M-T National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia, created in 2002, together with the Cies Islands, the island of Sálvora and the Cortegada island.

The Islands promise the visitor an excellent excursion in a highly protected natural space to enjoy nature to the fullest. In this virgin paradise we can highlight its beaches, its Lighthouse, one of the largest in Spain, the Burato do Inferno chasm, the Fedorento and O Centolo viewpoints, among others.

It is worth coming and exploring the Island, visiting the beaches and enjoying nature in one of the few virgin paradises left on earth.

What is needed to go to Ons Island?

To visit the island of Ons you need an authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. Permission for your visit can be made 90 days in advance. You can cancel it up to 15 days before your visit.
